Public API FAQs

Yes. An interactive Swagger specification lists the published REST API endpoints and lets your developers try calls. Your Customer Success Manager can give you access and the right address for your environment.

Each integration has a dedicated API account that exchanges its credentials for an access token and a refresh token, then sends the access token with each call. The account's access decides which locations and data it can reach.

You register for events such as rota approved, timesheet signed off, or people, leave and open shifts changing, and Rotageek sends a signed message when they happen. Your system then calls the API for the current data.
